A Message from the Elders
A Message from the Elders

Dear Church Family,
Yesterday, your elders met to discuss our plans going forward regarding our corporate worship services. As you know, our Mayor and Governor have asked everyone to avoid gatherings of more than 200 people, and now the CDC is asking that we limit those gatherings to 50 people. While we are citizens of Heaven, we are also called to live in obedience to the God-given authorities over us, and we want to be compliant where we can. So, the elders have decided not to assemble as a church body for the remainder of the month of March. We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and consult with medical personnel to determine future decisions and will continue to update you about our worship services.
We are working on and should have online services available beginning this coming Sunday. We will provide instructions, soon, on how you can participate in those online meetings. While we are limiting meeting together, we can and still should be participating in our own personal Bible reading, praying for each other, and communicating with each other using the various means available to us. This is a difficult time but one our Lord has appointed for us according to His good, acceptable and perfect will. We must be looking for ways we can be salt and light even in these times of social distancing.
Please check in on each other and continue to serve each other as you are able. Your deacons and elders remain available for those of you who have physical and/or spiritual needs. Please communicate those to us as you are aware of them. We look forward to being able to worship together soon! Until then, we are trusting in our faithful God.
