Discipleship

The Bible Church of Little Rock exists to make disciples who make disciples. (Matthew 28:19-20)  Every woman who is a follower of Christ is called to evangelism and discipleship relationships.
We encourage women to seek out biblical friendships, empowered and compelled by the gospel, which encourage them in love and good deeds and help them walk together in a manner worthy of that gospel. (Hebrews 10:24-25; Philippians 1:27)    Titus 2 requires older women to teach, encourage, and set an example for younger women so that the Word of God will not be dishonored. (Titus 2:3-5)   We also encourage all women to seek out and invest in the lives of other women who are already in their natural spheres within the local body. Involvement in care groups, women’s Bible studies, equipping hour classes, and areas of service provide meaningful opportunities for relationships to grow and flourish. In addition to these natural, church-wide opportunities for relationship building, a woman of any age may request to be paired with another Godly woman for encouragement in her Christian walk.

If you would like to be involved in a more intentional discipleship relationship or need help connecting you or your family to one of our care groups,
please feel free to contact Vivian Etherington, Discipleship Coordinator.
